Lisa Marie Hart, Owner, High Tea for Alice, with one of her teapot-topped tea stands

A writer and editor by trade, I began creating my Wonderland of tiered serving trays more than three years ago on a whim and never looked back. Sometimes your passion finds you when you’re not looking … thank goodness!

The process of creating couture tea stands, cupcake towers, cake plates and tiered jewelry stands consistently captivates me. Sorting through centuries of patterns, eras of colors and designs from days gone by is something I just get lost in…

Each of our stands is made of hand-selected, collectible china chosen for its unique allure. It can take months to find just the right pieces for one stand before carefully drilling each one.

The moment the pieces stack up always takes my breath away. Some kind of magic happens when vintage china plates, cups, saucers and teapots are able to float on air!

Beautiful to admire, a pleasure to use…you’ll never want to put them away. And why should you? Our tea stands are useful in every room in the house. (Just see our 50 Uses for Tea Stands page!) The best part of my “job” is receiving photos from our clients that show our tiered stands’ new homes or their places of honor at spectacular lifetime events.

We’re grateful to have been featured in Romantic Homes magazine and on Preston Bailey’s Entertaining blog, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled Blog,, Elizabeth Anne Designs, Bravo Bride, Emmaline Bride, the OC Register &’s front page.

High Tea for Alice one-of-a-kind cake stands invite you to add a little vintage china to your life. Pure, old-fashioned charm meets modern entertaining in these instant heirlooms designed to be loved, used & passed down for generations of happy occasions to come.

Poor Alice never got to enjoy her tea amidst the zaniness of Wonderland. Now, she will. And so will you!
